Details of the Job/Internship
UST Group is hiring a Legal Officer to join their office in Kolkata. This full-time on-site role involves providing legal consulting, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with business and contract laws across real estate projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct property due diligence and prepare legal search reports.
- Handle mutation, registration, and other property-related legalities.
- Draft, vet, and review legal documents including sale deeds, agreements, MoUs, and other property-related documents.
- Provide legal counsel and support to management on real estate transactions and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with external advocates for litigation and non-litigation matters.
- Ensure timely preparation and verification of all title documents, deeds, and agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of legal files, case updates, and registration details.
- Assist in preparing and finalizing due diligence reports, vetting deeds, and title verification.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognised university.
- 5–6 years of experience in real estate legal work.
