Details of the Job/Internship
Vavetek.AI is hiring a Legal Officer with a foundation in corporate law and an interest in startup compliance and litigation to join their office in Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. This is a full-time, in-office role, working Monday to Saturday.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, NDAs, service and shareholder agreements.
- Manage legal tasks related to Startup India, company formation, ESOPs, and regulatory filings.
- Assist with litigation matters and liaise with external counsel.
- Provide legal support on employment, data protection, IP, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams for legal input in decision-making.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Strong command over English (spoken and written).
- Understanding of corporate law and commercial legal frameworks.
- Familiarity with Startup India policies, investment term sheets, and compliance.
- Interest or experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters.
