Details of the Job/Internship
Gigamon is hiring a Legal Operations and Compliance Counsel with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their hybrid office in Guindy, Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures across global operations.
- Monitor and strengthen risk and compliance infrastructure through reporting and process improvement.
- Conduct training programs on compliance, ethics, privacy, anti-bribery, and other legal matters.
- Maintain compliance documentation, manage regulatory filings, and support internal audits.
- Manage corporate governance filings and maintain board-related documentation.
- Prepare, maintain, and streamline legal templates, contracts, and policy resources.
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-border legal and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in identifying, monitoring, and reporting emerging legal and compliance risks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with active Bar Council membership.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in multinational technology companies.
- Strong understanding of global compliance laws, governance frameworks, and regulatory systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Certification in legal operations, compliance, or privacy preferred.
