Details of the Job/Internship
Castellan Real Estate Partners is hiring a Legal Operations Assistant with experience of 1–3 years to join their remote team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Organising, maintaining, and updating legal documents, contracts, regulatory developments, and reference materials.
- Maintaining trackers for litigation management, compliance tasks, and ongoing projects.
- Following up with internal teams for documents, information, and status updates.
- Supporting pre-litigation processes by compiling and organising documentation for internal review.
- Ensuring legal records are accurate, current, and easily retrievable.
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Law graduates are welcome; enrolment with the bar is not required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a legal support or legal operations role.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe, Dropbox, and Monday.com.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage administrative tasks.
- Willingness to work during US business hours and manage multiple follow-ups.
- Experience supporting US-based real estate or legal teams is preferred but not mandatory.
