American Express is hiring a Legal Operations Specialist with 0–2 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Open and categorize legal matters within the case management system.
- Assess the validity of third-party legal requests according to Amex procedures.
- Prepare official correspondence for issuers of legal requests.
- Evaluate legal requests, conduct account research, and identify responsive documents.
- Retrieve necessary documentation and prepare formal responses in compliance with laws.
- Ensure all actions comply with U.S. and applicable international legal standards.
- Navigate and extract data from various information platforms and databases.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Law or a related subject.
- 0–2 years of experience in an operations team or an in-house legal department.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
