Details of the Job/Internship

Wellversed is hiring a Legal Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to provide corporate legal support.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and business transaction documents.
• Liaise with external counsel to manage and streamline legal processes.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, business restructuring, and related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee intellectual property management, policy development, and compliance.
• Maintain accuracy and legal compliance of all documents and contracts.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant legal experience.
• Proven experience in corporate law, contract drafting, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in legal research tools.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, tax law, intellectual property law, and labor laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-experts.

Salary/Stipend
