Details of the Job/Internship
SMS-Magic is hiring a Contracts Manager with 7–10 years of experience to join their legal team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Vet, draft, and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, Security Questionnaires, and DPAs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across the US, India, Europe, and Australia.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors when required.
- Draft agreements and policies, and support creation of procedures and process efficiencies.
- Provide legal advice and support to operations and other internal teams.
- Identify non-compliance issues, assess implications, and suggest corrective actions.
- Develop and implement compliance procedures to ensure business operations adhere to applicable laws.
Eligibility
- 7–10 years of experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.
- Experience working with corporates on global contracts.
- Experience in large or mid-sized law firms or organisations as a contract lawyer.
- Based in Pune.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of business law, GDPR, and managed services, with experience in in-house legal teams in India.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
