Details of the Job/Internship

Screen Magic is seeking a Contracts Manager to join its legal team in Pune. The role involves supporting internal and external stakeholders on legal matters, including assessment and negotiation of customer and vendor contracts, managed services, information security aspects, RFPs, RFIs and vendor questionnaires, while providing practical legal solutions to protect the organisation from legal risks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Vetting and drafting legal documents, agreements and contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs and security questionnaires.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts across regions including the US, India, Europe and Australia.
• Participating in negotiations with external customers and vendors as required.
• Drafting agreements, policies, procedures and improving internal processes and efficiencies.
• Providing legal advice and support to operations and other internal teams.
• Identifying non-compliance issues, outlining implications, suggesting corrective actions and supporting resolution.
• Defining and executing compliance procedures to ensure business operations and transactions comply with applicable laws.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in negotiating and drafting global customer contracts.
• Experience of working with corporates handling contracts with customers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prior experience with large or mid-sized law firms or organisations as a contract lawyer.
• Good understanding of business law, GDPR and managed services.
• Experience of working with an in-house legal team within India.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
• Based in Pune.

Salary/Stipend
