Nokia is hiring candidates for the position of NBS SCS L&C Legal Ops Specialist at their Noida office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work on Matter Management tool- Legal Tracker (by Thomson Reuters) for creating matters, POs, and reviewing invoices.
- Creating matters and initiating PO approvals (for law firms) basis the approved RFP & quotation shared by Nokia Legal counsels.
- Review invoices (submitted by law firms) as they come in, sending them back in case of errors and acknowledging them if in order.
- Managing the PO & invoice approval process promptly.
- Ensuring the invoices are timely paid as per agreement before penalties become applicable.
- Keeping track of all invoices when fully approved are forwarded to the accounting team for timely payment processing.
- Collaborating and coordinating effectively with internal and external team members to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Prior experience developing playbooks and policies.
- Extremely organized to manage organizational content in SharePoint sites, intranet sites, Teams folders, and other digital locations as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role.
- Proven track record of collaborating with groups (e.g., finance, operations, sales)
- Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal skills to create effective & high-quality communications & connect with the intended audience.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines.
- Able to partner closely and flexibly with the Head of NBS L&C and the Global Head of Operations & Strategy to manage current operations and adopt new systems and ways of working to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Eligibility
- Degree in Business/Law/Finance with certifications/ experience in legal compliance and contract management.
- 5-7 years of experience with legal project operations and management in-house or at a law firm (both preferred).
