Details of the Job/Internship
OneBanc is hiring a Legal Owner with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves advising on company law, compliance, contract management, and supporting business leaders with strategic legal advice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service, partnership, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws, including data privacy regulations.
- Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and suggest practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align operations with legal requirements.
- Manage corporate governance documents including minutes, resolutions, and shareholder agreements.
- Train and guide internal teams on legal matters and compliance awareness.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 1–3 years of legal experience.
- In-house legal experience in a corporate organisation.
- Knowledge of company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Understanding of legal risk management and practical problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
