Details of the Job/Internship

Vadilal Industries Limited is hiring a Legal Professional to manage the legal functions for its International Business Division at the corporate office in Ahmedabad. The role requires working hours from 3:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review current processes, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain corporate records, insurance policies, and company agreements.
• Analyze and summarize legal materials.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate confidentiality agreements and other legal documents.
• Contribute to corporate policy development and implementation.
• Coordinate with legal teams in the USA and the central legal team.
• Review and enhance brand and agency agreements.
• Oversee lease deeds for parlors, warehouses, and facilities.
• Support procurement in executing buying agreements.
• Assist in transaction closings, corporate record-keeping, and legal drafting.
• Manage special projects and assignments.
• Respond to legal support needs and escalations.
• Support trial preparation through research and investigations.

Eligibility

• Law degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a corporate legal setting.
• Preference for candidates with exposure to International Business, particularly in the U.S. market.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Strong independent working capabilities and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in legal analysis, especially within consumer goods companies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in arbitration disputes, international trade disputes, and corporate compliance.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing legal issues.

Salary/Stipend
