Details of the Job/Internship

L&T Financial Services is hiring a legal professional with experience of 8-10 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate independently various agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, and IT contracts with fintech partners and service providers.
• Apply knowledge of relevant laws and regulations issued by the RBI and NPCI specifically related to NBFC products and digital lending.
• Analyse legal issues related to contractual risks and provide strategic recommendations to business teams.
• Conduct legal reviews of product notes, standard contracts, policies, and internal templates.
• Perform due diligence and audits of both lending and non-lending documentation.
• Act as a primary interface between external legal counsel and internal business units for specialized assignments.
• Track and provide updates on evolving laws, regulations, and stamp duty requirements.

Eligibility

• Possession of a degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a legal role.
• Previous experience in an NBFC or Banking environment is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in digital lending, information technology laws, and RBI directions.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Note: Candidates handling litigation and collection are not eligible for this role.
