Details of the Job/Internship

IBM is hiring a Legal Operations Professional with 5+ years of experience to join their Bangalore office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of legal engagements, from contract initiation to vendor approvals and payments.
• Collaborate with internal departments including HR, Finance, and Technology to enhance operational processes.
• Manage legal vendor relationships and oversee law firm operations.
• Conduct data analysis to inform business decisions and improve legal service delivery.
• Assist in implementing process improvements and new technologies within the legal department.
• Stay updated on IBM’s internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Take on increasingly complex assignments with growing independence.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, legal processes, and performance metrics.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.
• Preferred:
• Proficiency with legal technology, contract management, and research tools.
• Experience in a multinational company environment.
• Familiarity with lean and agile methodologies.
