Details of the Job/Internship

Pleasure Spaces (India) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Professional with 3–6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and standards.
• Advise the Department Head and management on legal implications of strategies, projects, and decisions.
• Conduct legal research and remain updated on real estate regulations and property laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, joint venture agreements, construction agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain contract records and ensure timely renewals.
• Handle due diligence, title verification, and documentation for acquisitions, sales, and leases.
• Manage conveyancing, registration, and documentation for property transactions.
• Coordinate with external counsel for property-related matters.
• Handle legal disputes involving vendors and contractors.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage litigation strategies.
• Work with external counsel for complex litigation and arbitration.
• Identify legal risks and recommend proactive solutions.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Liaise with government and regulatory authorities.
• Manage statutory filings, approvals, and licenses.
• Maintain organised records of contracts, property documents, and licenses.
• Implement document control policies to ensure confidentiality and accessibility.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LLB or LLM).
• 2–6 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in real estate, construction, or property law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and contract law.
• Proficiency in Kannada and English is mandatory.
• Willingness to undertake office and field work.

Salary/Stipend
