Details of the Job/Internship

Clifford Chance is hiring a Legal Project Analyst with 4+ years of experience to support its Legal Project Management function in India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Legal Project Managers and support matter and project management activities.
• Prepare fee reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track project workstreams, budgets, forecasts, burn rates, and profitability.
• Conduct financial and data analysis including leverage and recovery calculations.
• Use defined templates, SOPs, and tools to produce project and matter reports.
• Support service delivery using firm systems and best delivery tools.
• Draft and circulate time recording guidelines to matter teams.
• Track internal and third-party fees against budgets and fee estimates.
• Review draft invoices and identify required amendments.
• Attend matter team meetings and client calls and circulate action points.
• Assist in tracking out-of-scope work and breaches of engagement assumptions.
• Prepare resource planners, working party lists, and profitability dashboards.
• Coordinate communications, documentation access, and project activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and technology-enabled solutions.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Finance background is an added advantage.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a corporate or MNC environment.
• Prior experience in project management or project coordination with financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and management reporting.
• Understanding of financial terms and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
