Details of the Job/Internship
Lighthouse Learning Group is hiring a Legal – Real Estate Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves independently managing legal aspects of real estate transactions and contracts, including due diligence, drafting, vetting, negotiation, and coordination with stakeholders for effective closure of real estate operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet real estate transaction documents, including Agreement to Lease, Lease Agreements, Leave and License Agreements, Side Letters, and Conveyance Deeds.
- Handle title due diligence for properties across India.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external lawyers for collation of due diligence documents and closure of exercises.
- Manage legal notices, draft responses, and handle other legal correspondences.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update MIS for real estate transactions and related legal matters.
- Knowledge or handling of real estate litigation will be an added advantage.
Eligibility
- LLB with a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, retail, or hospitality industries.
- Strong background in real estate laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Inclination towards contract drafting.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
