Details of the Job/Internship
Macquarie Group is hiring an Executive – Legal Request Officer with 4–6 years of experience to join its Legal and Governance Group in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and process subpoenas, court orders, regulatory notices, and law enforcement inquiries.
- Review and triage requests to validate scope, authenticity, and compliance requirements.
- Apply legal judgement across multiple jurisdictions and business units.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Records Management, and Risk teams.
- Log, track, and maintain requests within a central case management system.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses to all requests.
Eligibility
- 4–6 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in legal or regulatory environments.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Familiarity with legal processes such as subpoenas and regulatory notices.
- Experience with case management systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders under pressure.
