Details of the Job/Internship

NexaWorks is hiring a Legal Research Intern for its LawTech Project with a duration of 1.5–2 months. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using judgments, statutes, and online law databases.
• Interact with lawyers to gather practical insights, case references, and user requirements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze legal resources from web portals, libraries, and interviews.
• Summarize findings and prepare detailed notes for the AI product and research team.
• Assist in creating mock legal datasets and identifying trends in Indian legal research.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve NexaWorks features.
• Report progress, challenges, and interesting findings regularly.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a recognized law degree (LLB/BA-LLB/BBA-LLB/LLM).
• Strong research and communication skills.
• Interest in legal technology and innovation.
• Self-driven and proactive in networking with legal professionals.
• Basic knowledge of Indian legal databases (eCourts, Supreme Court, High Court portals) is an advantage.
