Singing Bird Apps is hiring a Legal Research Intern (O-1A Petition Support) for a 4–6 weeks project-based remote engagement.
Role and Responsibilities
- Map achievements to USCIS O-1A eligibility criteria.
- Conduct research on immigration policy guidance and comparable case standards.
- Draft structured evidence summaries aligned with statutory requirements.
- Organise and index petition exhibits using Exhibit A, B, C formatting.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing recommendation letter drafts.
- Compile and structure documentation into petition-ready format.
- Maintain clean documentation tracking sheets.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing LLB or JD, preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written English skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to handle documentation-heavy work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior internship with an immigration law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with U.S. employment-based visas is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience drafting formal legal documents is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong document formatting skills are preferred but not mandatory.
