SPEC Finance (IFSC) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Research Officer to support its Legal & Compliance division in Gandhinagar. The role involves legal research, drafting, compliance tracking, and regulatory support under various domestic and international frameworks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law across Indian and global jurisdictions.
- Draft and review contracts, policies, board resolutions, and regulatory submissions.
- Track regulatory developments and maintain compliance logs and risk trackers.
- Prepare legal opinions, compliance checklists, regulatory summaries, and due diligence reports.
- Support document and litigation management.
- Liaise with internal teams and external legal advisors.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Final-year students or fresh graduates may be considered.
- Strong academic background with proven research and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of Indian corporate, financial, and commercial laws.
- Familiarity with legal databases like Manupatra, SCC, LexisNexis, or Westlaw preferred.
- Experience with NBFCs, fintechs, law firms, or IFSC-registered institutions is desirable.
