Details of the Job/Internship

JSA is hiring a Legal Researcher with a strong academic background to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal and market research across financial, commercial, technology, and art investment sectors.
• Support the development of high-quality newsletters, articles, and legal updates for the firm’s publications.
• Provide the Marketing & PR teams with well-researched briefs and insights for external communication.
• Draft concise and engaging content for client updates, internal knowledge resources, and reports.
• Monitor global industry trends and regulatory updates to keep the firm’s content current.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal and marketing teams to ensure consistency in written materials.
• Support the preparation of press releases and documentation for media-related events.
• Maintain research databases and contribute to firm-wide knowledge management initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Strong interest in niche practice areas like art investment, private client, and technology law.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex legal jargon for diverse, non-legal audiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort utilizing online research tools and legal databases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
