Details of the Job/Internship

Enfold Proactive Health Trust is hiring for the position of Legal Researcher with 2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop research tools and methodologies for studies on child protection laws.
• Collect data through interviews and review of case files and judicial decisions related to child protection.
• Analyze legal documents and court rulings pertinent to child welfare and juvenile justice.
• Prepare training modules and knowledge resources for capacity building.
• Design and deliver training programs for stakeholders within the child protection and criminal justice systems.
• Coordinate with external partners, including government and non-government organizations.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and contribute to building a knowledge base on juvenile justice and child protection laws such as the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the POCSO Act, 2012.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Team Director based on organizational priorities.

Eligibility

Education:

• Essential: B.A. LLB
• Preferable: Master’s degree in Law

Work Experience:

• Essential: Minimum 2 years in legal research
• Preferable: 3-5 years, with experience in child protection laws and working within multidisciplinary teams or organizations (not solo practice)

Research Experience:

• Familiarity with legal research methods is highly desirable

Salary/Stipend
