Details of the Job/Internship
CTC is seeking an experienced Legal Resource to manage employment-related legal matters, including contracts, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation claims, and compliance with U.S. federal and state laws.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage Employment Agreements in compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and review Bonus and Commission Agreements to support performance-based compensation.
- Draft and negotiate Client Contracts to ensure protection of company interests.
- Manage Vendor Contracts, including Corp-to-Corp (C2C) and 1099 agreements, ensuring compliance and mitigating classification risks.
- Review and respond to Unemployment Claims, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.
- Handle Workers’ Compensation Insurance Claims, including documentation and communication with insurance providers.
- Serve as the primary contact for state labor departments and agencies regarding compliance and legal correspondence.
- Support internal teams with legal research, policy development, and training on legal procedures.
Eligibility
- Experience with U.S. employment law, contracts, and compliance.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
