Details of the Job/Internship
Phoenix Business Advisory is hiring a Legal Retainer with 3–5 years of experience to support its corporate legal functions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate matters, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and manage disputes, arbitrations, and legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and policy alignment.
- Provide legal training and assist in drafting internal policies and handbooks.
- Conduct legal research and maintain organized records and reports.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; LLM is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Retainer, Corporate Lawyer, or Legal Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and related frameworks.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Membership with the Bar Council of India is mandatory.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret legal matters and offer practical legal solutions.
