Details of the Job/Internship
Rajah & Tann Asia is hiring a Legal Secretary [Corporate] to join their Singapore office. The role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to lawyers, managing client records, handling billing processes, preparing legal documents, and coordinating seminars and other administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to lawyers in the Corporate practice.
- Maintain client contact lists in the firm’s CRM system.
- Prepare and issue bills, including bill narrations.
- Track billing status and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare legal documents.
- Open and close legal files.
- Schedule and arrange seminars locally and overseas.
- Perform other secretarial duties as assigned by lawyers.
Eligibility
- Prior secretarial experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Proficiency in legal documentation and Microsoft Office applications, including experience with Table of Contents in MS Word.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
