Details of the Job/Internship
Golm Law Firm is hiring a Legal Secretary with a minimum of three years of experience to join its Bradenton, Florida office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality work and superior client service.
- Assisting attorneys in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
- Proofreading, preparing, and processing legal documents, including deeds, powers of attorney, motions, and pleadings.
- Scheduling and coordinating signings, hearings, and attorney or client meetings.
- Managing travel arrangements, phone calls, mail routing, calendars, appointments, conference room bookings, filings, new business intake, and expense forms.
- Entering, reviewing, and editing attorney time entries.
- Organising and maintaining client files and form files.
- Providing reliable and flexible administrative support.
- Offering secretarial and administrative assistance to other team members when required.
- Performing additional administrative duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- Minimum of three years of law firm experience supporting at least two attorneys.
- Knowledge of local court systems, including e-filing and scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Qualia and QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys, clients, and staff.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong grammar, proofreading, and transcription skills.
- Ability to use firm resources efficiently to complete work in a timely manner.
- This is an in-office position.
Salary/Stipend
