Details of the Job/Internship
Hill Dickinson LLP is hiring a Legal Secretary to join their office in London.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinating team diaries and arranging travel.
- Opening of client files and liaising with Compliance regarding Client Due Diligence.
- Ensuring regular and efficient billing and monitoring retainer arrangements.
- Draft correspondence and prepare standard documentation.
- Receive and welcome visitors, liaising with Hill Dickinson hosts and offering hospitality as directed.
- Sending chasers to the team where necessary, including chasing for financial information, review forms and other information that may be required by the Partners.
- Booking couriers and processing their invoices.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, , events, training sessions and arrange and deliver catering where required while demonstrating a keen attention to detail to all elements of service and presentation.
- Assisting the Team in Monaco with opening client files, drafting Engagement Letters, billing and various other secretarial duties.
- Carry out regular meeting rooms checks including the reception area to make sure that they are tidy and clean at all times to an impeccable standard.
- Developing good working relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients and contacts as required, promoting a positive working culture and environment.
- Maintain and keep clean the kitchen area, clean crockery, whilst also maintaining stock levels
- Maintain a friendly and helpful manner when dealing with clients, potential clients, stakeholders and colleagues
Eligibility
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the legal industry.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Well-practised organizational skills including the ability to prioritize.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to produce accurate work with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient listening skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to work under their initiative.
- A calm and professional manner.
- Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside of normal hours if business needs dictate.
Salary/Stipend
