J.K. Fenner (India) Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Secretary with 15-20 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and track statutory compliance using a dedicated compliance tool.

Litigation Management:

• Handle legal disputes and minimize the organization’s exposure to claims and litigation.
• Liaise with external counsel and coordinate with local authorities for court proceedings.

Legal Advisory:

• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on business activities and regulatory matters.
• Develop legally sound solutions to achieve business objectives effectively.

Contract Management:

• Review, draft, and negotiate business agreements, SLAs, NDAs, MSAs, and vendor/customer contracts.
• Conduct legal vetting of agreements using contract management tools.

Documentation and Due Diligence:

• Scrutinize land documents and draft various legal agreements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documentation.

Regulatory Monitoring:

• Stay updated on legislative changes affecting the organization.
• Provide timely guidance on regulatory developments to relevant business units.

Eligibility

Qualification: LLB & Company Secretary (Preferred)
Experience: 15-20 years in a medium/large manufacturing organization
Age Range: 35-40 years

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
