Details of the Job/Internship
Jurisiti is hiring a Legal Secretary with strong organizational and multitasking abilities to join their office in Dabri Mod, Janakpuri, New Delhi. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible hours and frequent travel.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents.
- Maintain organized case files.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, attorneys, and court officials.
- Manage schedules, deadlines, and court dates.
- Perform administrative tasks including billing and database updates.
- Conduct basic legal research and support case preparation.
- Coordinate with clients and courts, including late-night and out-of-city engagements.
- Support business development activities.
Eligibility
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase) is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Proactive and adaptable work ethic.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and Indian legal systems is preferred.
