Details of the Job/Internship
Rupalekhya Infrastructures Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2 years of experience in legal affairs and compliance to join their office in New Town AAI, Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on company operations, contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, MoUs, and legal documents ensuring legal soundness and risk mitigation.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, especially HIDCO and NKDA norms.
- Handle legal correspondence, represent the company in legal proceedings, and coordinate with external legal advisors as needed.
- Monitor updates and amendments in real estate, corporate, and land laws impacting HIDCO and NKDA jurisdictions.
- Assist in land acquisition, mutation, lease agreements, building plan sanctions, and other legal formalities under HIDCO/NKDA guidelines.
- Maintain organized legal records and ensure timely renewals of licenses, permissions, and agreements.
- Advise internal teams on legal risks and help create policies aligned with regulatory frameworks.
Eligibility
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative legal role.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
