Details of the Job/Internship
3M is hiring a Legal Specialist – Technology Contracts with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their Global Legal Service Center in Bengaluru East.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts including IT, SaaS, licensing, data privacy, AI, and similar agreements.
- Conduct redline reviews to ensure compliance with internal standards and playbooks.
- Prepare legal summaries and term sheets for IT contracts.
- Support procurement teams in vendor negotiations.
- Provide contract status updates to the IT Legal Team.
- Contribute to training programs on technology, digital, privacy, and cybersecurity legal matters.
- Support the development of contract playbooks, guidelines, and self-service tools.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technology law, contract drafting, data privacy, or IT legal functions.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner and effective team player.
