Details of the Job/Internship

Karix is hiring a Legal Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to join their Mumbai team. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and consultancy agreements.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from intake and version tracking to final execution and storage.
• Administer and maintain CLM tools, including managing workflows, metadata, and renewal alerts.
• Oversee contract execution workflows, including e-signatures, physical stamping, and repository hygiene.
• Support vendor management by handling onboarding documentation, compliance checks, and terminations.
• Coordinate with Business, Sales, and Finance teams to provide practical legal guidance on operational risks.
• Assist in legal compliance and audit readiness, particularly concerning the DPDPA and contract law.
• Support dispute resolution by reviewing notices and coordinating with external counsel.
• Maintain detailed MIS reporting on contract deviations, expiries, and key performance metrics.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 3+ years of post-qualification experience in Commercial Contracts and Legal Writing.
• Prior experience in Telecommunications, Fintech, NBFC, or Tech Startup environments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial contracting fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with CLM tools and disciplined digital documentation practices.
• Ability to translate complex legal risks into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
• High level of ownership and an exceptional eye for detail.
