Details of the Job/Internship
JPMorganChase is hiring a Legal Specialist Analyst with a minimum of 1 year of legal practice experience to join their Litigation Subpoena Escalation Team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze third-party subpoenas, court orders, and other legal documents.
- Maintain detailed records of subpoenas and legal requests.
- Manage multiple assignments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Support attorneys with matter management and case file maintenance.
- Collaborate with attorneys across teams on litigation and compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of legal practice, preferably in subpoena compliance, litigation, or regulatory compliance in banking/financial services.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Preferred: Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department; undergraduate degree; law degree from a premier law school; experience in contract review or banking law.
