Details of the Job/Internship

Hyperloop Consultancy Group is seeking a Legal Specialist with strong expertise in Co-operative Housing Society matters and property law under the Maharashtra legal regime. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on CHS by-laws, general body resolutions, and statutory obligations.
• Draft and vet legal documents: Development Agreements, MoUs, POAs, Indemnities, Consent Letters.
• Advise on processes under Section 79A, deemed conveyance, and self-redevelopment.
• Conduct due diligence, title checks, and legal risk analysis on land and property records.
• Interface with CIDCO, MHADA, SRA, and other authorities for approvals and clearances.
• Assist in DCPR/UDCPR-based planning approvals and RERA application compliance.
• Represent clients before Co-operative Courts, Civil Courts, and the Registrar.
• Conduct legal awareness sessions with co-operative housing society members.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent qualification in law.
• Expertise in Maharashtra-specific laws: Co-operative Societies Act, MOFA, RERA.
• Proven experience in legal drafting, compliance, and real estate law advisory.
• Strong understanding of land title verification, conveyance processes, and municipal approvals.
• Fluent in English and preferably Marathi.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Effective communicator and team player in cross-functional settings.
