Details of the Job/Internship
ASEC Engineers – A Verdantas Company is hiring a Legal Specialist – I with 3+ years of experience in commercial or contract law to join their office in Pune. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting technical and business teams with legal guidance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review contracts and proposed revisions, identifying and addressing legal and commercial concerns.
- Draft, revise, and negotiate contract terms to mitigate risks and support business relationships.
- Provide written guidance to technical and business teams on contract preparation, execution, and compliance.
- Review, negotiate, and maintain agreements using contract management software and procedures.
- Manage the repository of executed contract documents.
Eligibility
- Graduation from a recognised university or institution.
- Enrolment as an advocate with a State Bar Council or the Bar Council of India.
- Successful passage of the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE).
- 3+ years of experience practising law, preferably in commercial or contract law.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science preferred.
- Experience in engineering, environmental consulting, or construction preferred.
