Escorts Kubota Limited is hiring a Legal Specialist (Litigation and Drafting) to join their office in Faridabad.

- Commercial Matters
- Labour Matters
- Cheque Bounce Cases (138)
- Property, Tax, and Land Revenue matters
- Intellectual Property matters
- Criminal matters
- Recovery matters
- Arbitration matters
- Commercial contracts vetting and drafting
Internal Coordination:
- Coordinate with various departments and their functional heads.
- Work with various corporate departments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Study and process case papers related to legal disputes or cases.
- Stay updated on new case laws relevant to the cases handled and share knowledge with other executives in the department.
- Prepare case files, documents, and briefs for solicitors, advocates, and counsels.
- Coordinate and follow up with advocates for the preparation of legal documents and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather information, details, and documents for specific matters.
- Attend court proceedings and handle incidental matters related to the court.
- Interact with government officials or quasi-judicial authorities when necessary.
- Track the status of legal cases and maintain records.
- Ensure foolproof commercial contractual documentation.
- Proactively identify legal issues that could affect the company and take remedial actions.
- Assist the HOD in achieving key legal department objectives, such as reducing frivolous litigations, managing case pendency, and identifying competent lawyers.
- Keep the HOD informed on important matters and seek advice on policy-related issues.
- Handle routine functions independently while keeping the HOD informed.
Eligibility
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Industry experience: Any.
