Details of the Job/Internship

Chandak Group is hiring a Legal Specialist (Non-Litigation) with 10–15 years of experience in real estate legal advisory to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Actively contributed as a key member of the real estate team, focusing on acquisition transactions and conducting due diligence processes.
• Drafted and negotiated transaction documents for the acquisition of immovable properties for data management center development.
• Developed and implemented risk mitigation strategies to ensure efficient transaction closures.
• Facilitated meetings, oversaw document registration processes, and provided end-to-end assistance for successful registration.
• Managed client relations, provided updates on transaction statuses, and attended property inspections.
• Led and mentored junior legal professionals, ensuring skill development and quality standards.
• Collaborated with external legal counsel to resolve issues and close transactions timely.
• Worked closely with the Managing Partner on estate management and strategic legal decisions.
• Independently handled transactions related to sale and transfer of residential and commercial properties.
• Provided guidance on transaction structuring for real estate development.
• Drafted Agreements for Sale and Title Reports for significant commercial property acquisitions.
• Conducted Title Due Diligence for financial institutions and delivered detailed reports for developers.

Eligibility

• LLB (mandatory); LLM preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactions, title diligence, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, contract law, RERA, and real estate development regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting complex legal agreements and handling property registrations.
• Excellent communication, client-handling, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Salary/Stipend
