Details of the Job/Internship
IKEA is hiring a Legal Specialist with 12+ years of experience in real estate and leasing for retail and office spaces to join its Gurgaon office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate lease agreements and real estate-related legal documents.
- Support the Country Legal Manager and Ingka businesses with legal and governance aspects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to secure sustainable legal solutions.
- Proactively mitigate legal risks and optimize business opportunities.
- Align country legal agenda with Group Legal & Governance.
- Contribute to implementation of business plans and projects.
- Develop competence of stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
- Stay updated on domestic and international legal developments.
Eligibility
- University/Master’s degree in Law with strong academic background.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in real estate and leasing (retail/office).
- Expertise in legal systems, governance, and legislation in Delhi NCR.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, collaborate across teams, and deliver results.
