Details of the Job/Internship

Aptia Group is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with strong expertise in contract law, cross-border negotiations, and compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and analyze a wide range of contracts and agreements — including vendor, service, licensing, and NDAs.
• Negotiate terms with external stakeholders to protect company interests and maintain positive business relations.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all contracts and identify detrimental clauses.
• Assess legal risks and provide proactive mitigation strategies.
• Conduct legal due diligence for business transactions.
• Manage a contract lifecycle system, tracking key milestones, expirations, and renewals.
• Provide legal counsel to internal teams on contractual, statutory, and regulatory issues.
• Stay updated with legal developments, case laws, and precedents across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with global legal teams and cross-functional departments on legal projects.
• Develop contract templates, legal strategies, and communication materials.
• Possess fair knowledge of litigation procedures in the US, UK, and India.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university (mandatory)
• LL.M. or additional legal certification preferred
• 10–15 years of experience in a senior legal role with cross-border exposure.
• Prior experience in corporate or shared services environments preferred.
• Strong background in international contract review and regulatory compliance.

Salary/Stipend
