Details of the Job/Internship

BC.GAME is hiring a Legal Specialist with 3 years of experience to join their office remotely.

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract & Legal Document Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, partnership agreements, and operational documents, ensuring compliance with iGaming laws and Nagaland’s online gaming licensing framework.
• Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support: Provide assistance in managing disputes, regulatory inquiries, and litigation, offering timely and practical legal advice.
• Internal Legal Advisory: Advise business, operations, and marketing teams on compliance with gambling laws, licensing conditions, and other legal obligations.
• Regulatory Research & Monitoring: Track legal and regulatory developments in India, particularly Nagaland’s online skill gaming framework, as well as AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Counter-Terrorist Financing) obligations; recommend operational updates as needed.
• Compliance Implementation: Design, update, and enforce AML/CFT policies, responsible gaming practices, and internal controls to meet statutory requirements and industry best practices.
• Administrative & Reporting: Handle compliance reporting to regulators (especially Nagaland authorities), maintain accurate records, and manage legal department administrative tasks.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications: License to practice law in India preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in iGaming, online betting, or other regulated gaming environments in India.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian gambling and online gaming laws, with specialized knowledge of Nagaland’s licensing regime and AML/CFT compliance.
• Skills: Proven legal drafting expertise, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with regulators and stakeholders.
