Details of the Job/Internship

Bizongo is hiring a Legal Specialist with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various Commercial and other Agreements.
• Following up with the business teams and ensuring that the agreements that are sent out from the Legal Department are duly executed by the parties and maintaining records thereof.
• Support and manage to collate the required data from the business/ supporting functions for timely closure.
• Responsible for managing and supporting the compliances related to business, and technical functions.
• Review of existing operations policies/ processes/ SOPs/ and development of new SOPs/ Processes/ Internal guidelines.
• Perform Risk Assessment for functions to identify, evaluate & analyze risk and prepare treatment plan/ SOP and implement the same for mitigation promptly.
• Develop training and awareness material on various compliance matters and conduct training for relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze due diligence reports and initiate activities/ processes to rectify/ comply with the negative remarks/ observations.
• Maintain a central data repository of all agreements and other legal documents,
• Any other matters/ activities related to any legal/ statutory compliances.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognized Indian university.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with corporate, business, environmental, and business law exposure.
• Strong drafting skills and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; command of the English language.
• Good legal research skills.
• The ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; and a good understanding of Contract law.
