Details of the Job/Internship

DeHaat is hiring a Legal Specialist with experience of 4 to 5 years to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, MOUs, and other legal agreements within a reasonable time frame, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• This includes monitoring and enforcing legal and corporate governance compliance across the organization.
• Manage and support the company in litigation matters, providing legal advice, strategy, and coordination with external counsel as needed.
• Review legal documents, conduct legal research, and provide advice to various departments to ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Leverage knowledge of the agricultural domain to provide specialized legal guidance and insights for business operations in this area.
• Assist with resolving disputes efficiently, minimizing legal risks, and managing settlements and negotiations.

Eligibility

• A law degree (LLB) is mandatory.
• 4-5 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within a similar industry, with exposure to litigation and compliance.
• Strong drafting and reviewing skills for a variety of legal documents and agreements.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and provide actionable insights.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business law.
• Proficiency in managing litigation processes and advising on legal strategies.
• Capable of negotiating agreements and settlements while protecting the company’s interests.

Salary/Stipend
