Details of the Job/Internship

EquiLend is hiring a Legal Specialist with 2+ years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare complex sales agreements related to SaaS platforms and financial data products.
• Manage the contracting lifecycle, from generating initial drafts to ensuring efficient workflows within the CLM system.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate contracting processes for better scalability.
• Assist with contract management activities, including tracking agreements and maintaining negotiation playbooks.
• Support corporate governance for EquiLend India, including maintaining statutory registers and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation and distribution of meeting materials.
• Monitor regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the global legal team on special projects.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
• Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or as a paralegal.
• Technical Expertise: Strong contract drafting capabilities and familiarity with corporate governance frameworks.
• Competencies: Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and sound judgment.
• Preferred: Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or financial services environments; knowledge of Indian corporate governance regulations is advantageous.
