Details of the Job/Internship
Google is hiring a Legal Specialist with 2 years of legal work experience to join its office in Gurugram. The role involves supporting corporate secretarial, compliance, and governance matters of Google subsidiaries in the Asia Pacific region, as well as handling legal and administrative matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and organize information and documentation.
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents.
- Conduct legal reviews, due diligence, and investigations.
- Advise clients on risks and support other areas of Legal Operations.
- Collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, and external parties on transactional and corporate matters.
- Oversee corporate governance, compliance, and post-closing integrations.
- Conduct fact-finding investigations and respond to regulatory and third-party requests.
- Develop and implement metrics to evaluate service effectiveness, policies, and procedures, and make recommendations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of legal work experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
