GreenTree Global is hiring a Legal Expert with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Nodal Officer in drafting petitions and following up with SERC.
- Oversee day-to-day work related to the scheme, including contracts, agreements, and MoUs.
- Prepare a plan for DC visits in case of non-compliance.
- Support SDA in energy conservation activities.
- Educate SDA officials, stakeholders, SERCs, and DCs on relevant rules.
- Prepare lists, notices, show-cause notices, and petitions for non-compliance under the PAT Scheme.
- Draft notes on rules under the EC Act and inform DCs and stakeholders.
- Support SDA in legal compliance related to RTI queries and litigation in consultation with legal experts.
- Coordinate and follow up with ASG/Registrar regarding information or documentation required for court cases.
- Attend hearings and assist in drafting orders, rejoinders, and records of proceedings.
Eligibility
- Minimum 7 years of experience in legal matters.
- Experience in the regulatory or electricity sector, or strong knowledge of petitions, is desirable.
- Maximum age limit: 40 years as of the closing date of the RfP.
