Details of the Job/Internship

ICF is hiring a Legal Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling legal aspects of the electricity sector to join their New Delhi client office on a full-time onsite deployment for 18–24 months, with scope for extension based on project requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support legal analysis on electricity and renewable energy sector matters involving regulatory commissions and sector entities.
• Assist in preparation and review of legal notes and inputs for petitions, replies, and hearing support.
• Support interpretation of legal aspects of regulatory orders and policy instruments relevant to energy transition.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in handling legal aspects of the electricity sector with Central or State regulators or sector organisations.
• Strong legal drafting and review capability.
• Comfort with regulatory commission processes.
• Attention to detail and risk spotting.

Salary/Stipend
