Details of the Job/Internship
IKEA is hiring a Legal Specialist with a minimum of 12 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, supporting, and securing the legal aspects of Ingka's business operations.
- Collaborate with the Country Legal Manager and stakeholders to find sustainable legal solutions.
- Draft and negotiate lease agreements and other real estate legal documents.
- Support management in legal risk assessment and opportunity optimization.
- Ensure alignment with Group Legal & Governance standards.
- Contribute to business plan development and implementation of legal processes.
- Develop stakeholder competence in laws and regulations.
- Stay updated with relevant legal and governance developments.
Eligibility
- University degree/master’s degree in law with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in a legal and governance environment specific to real estate and leasing for retail and office spaces in Delhi NCR.
- Good knowledge and application of legislation, legal systems, and government policies.
- Strong competence in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements and legal information related to real estate and leasing.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
