Details of the Job/Internship

KPIT is hiring a Legal Specialist with the experience of 3-4 years to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Assist in development and implementation of corporate compliance training/awareness trainings and communications (third party risks, conflicts of interest, gifts/entertainment, etc.).
• Manage corporate compliance risk assessments program (enterprise-wide, region/country/business unit specific)
• Develop, implement, and monitor corporate compliance program.
• Research and Analysis:
• Conduct research on various legal topics, including regulatory issues, data privacy, intellectual property, etc.
• Analyze and interpret complex legal information to provide informed guidance to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Data Privacy and Protection:
• Assist in ensuring company-wide compliance with global data protection regulations.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard sensitive information.
• Provide guidance on personal data related matters to various departments
• Legal Operations: Provide legal operational support

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent degree from a reputable law school.
• 3-4 years of experience, preferably in the IT sector.
• Keen interest in compliance management, research, data protection and legal operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
