Details of the Job/Internship
Moody’s Corporation is hiring a Legal Specialist with 3-4 years of in-house legal experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and edit various legal documents such as NDAs, license agreements, amendments, and payment letters under attorney supervision.
- Lead negotiations with clients and third parties to secure favorable contract terms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for processing and tracking legal documents.
- Communicate contract status and modifications internally and externally.
- Provide legal advice to business units and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Prepare reports based on public information and online databases.
- Handle confidential information with integrity and provide practical legal solutions aligned with business goals.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- Approximately 3-4 years of in-house legal experience.
- Familiarity with corporate laws, contract law, and intellectual property laws.
- Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different time zones if needed.
- Experience with artificial intelligence and legal technology tools is a plus.
