Details of the Job/Internship
National Realty Private Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Specialist with 8-10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including Sale Deeds, Letters of Intent (LOI), Leave & License Agreements, Lease Deeds, Probate and Trust documents, and financing agreements.
- Conduct property due diligence, including title investigation, extraction of title reports, and preparation of title summaries and commitments.
- Maintain, organize, and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify legal risks and issues proactively and recommend practical solutions to support timely project execution.
- Ensure all contractual obligations and legal terms are in line with the company’s interests, mitigating potential risks.
- Manage all litigation matters: conduct legal research, draft legal notices and petitions, liaise with external counsels, represent the company, and work to minimize liabilities.
- Attend society meetings and provide legal inputs and guidance.
- Handle legal matters related to co-operative societies, condominiums, and property ownership structures.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in drafting and reviewing Agreements, Deeds, and MOUs.
- Strong background in property law, including land due diligence, title investigation, and mutation processes.
- Skilled in drafting and vetting legal notices, letters, plaints, and petitions.
- In-depth understanding of laws and legal procedures concerning co-operative societies and condominiums.
- Prior experience in real estate legal matters is essential.
- Courtroom experience, including appearances before the High Court, District Courts, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Courts, Small Causes Courts, NCLT, and District Deputy Registrar.
